Most of the famous vacation destinations such as Arches, Canyonlands, Yosemite, Banff, and Jasper National Parks became famous because of their stunning and diverse landscape.
Many of these beautiful landscapes and the formations you see within them were formed over several millennia by the most famous artist of all - nature!
Most of the landscapes I show you here are photographed in Canada, USA, New Zealand, Africa, Galapagos Islands and in Europe. I prefer to use my Canon 1Ds Mark 3 for my landscape photography, the resolution of this camera (workhorse) is ideal to bring enough details out in the pictures. ... ...continue under photos...

I often use a wide angle lens for my landscape pictures, starting with a Canon 2.8/14mm, Canon 2.8/16-35 but sometimes I love to go against "the landscape" rules and zoom in as much as I can to bring the details even more out. My long Canon lenses 2.8/70-200mm, 4.5/100-400 and always preferred the Canon 2.8/300mm are my favorite camera lenses when I try to show details.
Soon I will bring new landscape pictures online which I took years ago with a 6x17cm panorama camera as well as with my large format 4x5 and medium format 6x8cm, obviously film cameras. I started scanning already with the new Hasselblad X5 scanner which produces by far the very best quality when it comes to scans - the only problem is time - it does take lots of time to deal with scans, the scanner produces RAW files in a hurry, but unfortunately the lab work with scans is fairly intense, mostly because of dust particles.
