For miles along the coastline of the Hudson Bay near Churchill, Manitoba, the water and rocks have become frozen in place as the temperatures have dropped well below freezing during the winter. The sun is able to show off its last beautiful rays of light before it retires for the day, creating picturesque scenery along the coastal shores of the Hudson Bay.
As the dark, snow clouds move in across the area, the sunset hues span themselves across the Hudson Bay reaching the rocky shores and reflecting off the ice covered boulders and icy landscape.
Each sunset during the winter along the Hudson Bay varies and the coastal shores become a photographer's paradise. When capturing the beauty of Churchill, Manitoba, the wind chill can be vicious and the temperatures can fluctuate within minutes, so one must ensure that they are prepared with the warmest winter clothing.
If dressed appropriately, the coastline of the Hudson Bay in winter at sunset is one of the most breathtaking places to see throughout Canada.
