For miles across the landscape of Parc de la Jacques-Cartier in Quebec, Canada you can see how the changing hillsides display their magnificent colors as fall takes over. The hillsides are dotted with various colours of reds, oranges, greens and yellows that glisten during the sunset hours.
The lighting at sunset reflects the hues of the trees across the surface of the river which seems to be at a standstill. Parts of the Jacques Cartier River can become fairly wild, but areas like this are too good to be true.
The word tranquility really becomes apparent while standing amongst the fall forest as the steep sided valley glistens just as the sun heads off to sleep after another busy day. A majority of the tourists have left Parc de la Jacques-Cartier and the world that stands in front of you is a paradise like no other.
Enjoy a guided canoe trip along the Jacques Cartier River and experience for yourself the real beauty of Quebec. Autumn brings out an unbelievable display of colors and every sunset has a different shade of hues and glow to it. Nature lovers and photographers always find themselves returning to this park every year during Autumn to see this wilderness extravaganza.
