Photo: Panorama Takakkaw Falls Waterfall Yoho National Park

Vertical panorama photo of the iconic Takakkaw Falls waterfall in Yoho National Park, British Columbia, Canada.

Said to be the second highest waterfall in Canada, the truly amazing Takakkaw Falls waterfall in the heart of the Canadian Rocky Mountains in Yoho National Park in British Columbia, Canada.

Translated from the native indian languages of "Cree" it means "magnificent", I believe this word describe this waterfall the best. It is one of the must see tourist attractions in Yoho National Park near Fields.

In the winter months it is very difficult to reach as the main road is closed for the season.

I photographed this vertical panorama of Takakkaw Falls waterfall with a Fuji 617 in the format 6x17 cm on Fuji Velvia Film then I scanned the original film on my Hasselblad X5.
