Slivers of sun light gleam on the shiny sand along the West Coast of Vancouver Island at sunset, while the cool Pacific Ocean waters wash up along South Beach. The Pacific Rim National Park is, among other things, a magnificently scenic coastal destination and attracts many visitors - year round.
From storm watching in winter to scenic sunset walks in the summer, this slice of coastal paradise offers much for the visitor. The Pacific Ocean rolls in along the West Coast shores offering world class surfing conditions while the temperate coastal rain forest offers nature lovers enchanting forest walks.
Rocky outcrops and driftwood strewn West Coast beaches such as South Beach offer scenic coastal vistas which are only highlighted further during sunset.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III, aperture of f/13.0, exposure time of sec. on ISO 100, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 16mm.
