The wingspan of these majestic birds of prey can measure up to 7 or 8 feet across. The bald eagle is known to be able to climb to an altitude of 10,000 feet and then ride the thermals.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1DS, aperture of f/7.1, exposure time of 124999/100 sec. on ISO 200, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 400mm.
