The city of Freising, Germany has two famous hills, one being cathedral hill where you can tour the bishop's castle and the Freising cathedral and the other being Weihenstephan hill where the famous and oldest brewery of the world sits.
The main sights of this quaint Bavarian city are all within walking distance and you can treat yourself to a nice cool Weihenstephan beer, enjoy some traditional Bavarian food and then head for the city center and have some delicious Bavarian ice-cream and explore the shops. On Wednesdays and Saturdays take a stroll to the Marienplatz where there is a farmers market bustling with locals and tourists in search of some fresh produce, vegetables or fish.
