A glorious day comes to an end with a spectacular sunset which silhouettes small scenic islands and casts reflections on the water surface.
The Tofino Inlet forms part of the Clayoquot Sound UNESCO Biosphere Reserve which was given the designation on January 21, 2000. It was an important step forward to protecting Clayoquot Sound.
Although this beautiful scenic sunset photograph is taken in Tofino Inlet - a transitional area of the reserve where natural resources are still drawn it is no less a beautiful area especially during sunset on a still evening when the scenery is mirrored in the reflections on the surface of the water.
