There are large variety of New Zealand Native Trees found in Fiordland National Park. The native flora of New Zealand is both rich and unique. Because of the isolation of its habitat, New Zealand native trees have a distinctive look about them and over 80% can only be found in New Zealand. On one of the many hiking trails in Fiordland National Park visitors walk amongst old growth rain forests which support a thriving ecosystem.
