Not only are the poppies beautiful but not far across the field sits the ancient Castle of Morella adding one more attraction to the area.
The poppies stand tall in the daylight hours and gently sway with the breeze that passes through Morella, Spain. When the daylight hours fade away, the poppies seem to call it a day as well and daintily close up for the evening.
Poppies grow fairly easy in the El Maestrat as the climate temperatures are ideal and the poppies are not too picky on the other species of wildflowers that grow amongst them. I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II, aperture of f/7.1, exposure time of 1/160 sec. on ISO 100, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 70mm.
