Standing at 3,954 metres (12,972 feet), the peak of Mount Robson is the highest in the Canadian Rockies and prior to the discovery of Mount Waddington on the central coast of British Columbia in 1925, was the highest mountain in British Columbia.
Mount Robson Provincial Park is located in the eastern region of central British Columbia, just west of Jasper National Park on the western side of the Alberta border with B.C. The Mount Robson Provincial Park offers the outdoor enthusiast a wide range of activities, winter and summer.
Three camping areas serve the park, mostly on a first come/first served basis although at Robson Meadows Campground, some reservations are accepted and in total, the park offers 180 vehicle/tent sites. Wilderness or back-country camping is allowed but no facilities are provided.

...Continue gallery information:Over 180 species of birds have been recorded in Mount Robson Provincial Park and at the lower levels in the park can be found black bear, elk, moose and mule and white-tailed deer while at the higher levels, grizzly bear, mountain goat, mountain sheep and cariboo can be found.
Mount Robson Provincial Park boasts hiking trails for every skill level and the visitors will find the hikes to be very scenic. Trails wander past glaciers and waterfalls, through valleys and beside lakes. In addition, cycling, horseback riding, boating, and paddling are all outdoor activities that are popular in the Park.
Mount Robson Provincial Park can be accessed by car with a drive of about 4 hours going north of Kamloops, British Columbia on Highway 5 and car rental companies are located at several commercial airports in the area.
