Everybody needs a scratch once in a while and this Yellow-Eyed Penguin had to stop along the sandy beach near Dunedin, NZ to tend to one.

Fishing is over for another day and a Yellow-Eyed Penguin makes his way up the sandy beach near Dunedin on the South Island of NZ towards his nesting grounds. On the way, this cute little penguin decides he must stop and deal with an itch that he has.
