It doesn't seem to matter where or when you visit the Rocky Mountains whether in the summer or winter, the scenery is stunning. Here, the Mistaya River which is fed from the slopes of Mt Sarbach in Banff National Park, is covered by snow and ice.
From British Columbia and Alberta, Canada in the north, south through several states in the USA, the Rocky Mountains stretch for more than 4,800 kilometres. This stunning mountain range is one of stupendous year-round scenery, and varied wildlife.
Canada's claim to the Rocky Mountains include several national parks and numerous Provincial Parks which offer visitors endless recreational opportunities. Banff National Park and Jasper National Park are among the most well known however, no less spectacular are Kootenay, Waterton Lakes, and Yoho National Parks.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III, aperture of f/11.0, exposure time of 1/100 sec. on ISO 50, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 23mm.
