As cute as a polar bear looks, they are a powerful animal. It's unsafe for tourists to encourage their curiosity even from the safety of a vehicle.

In one swat of the paw, a polar bear could turn a supposedly safe bear watching experience into a frightening ordeal. Rental vehicles are available from the town of Churchill in Manitoba Canada, but tourists are recommended to keep a safe distance from the polar bears.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II, aperture of f/6.3, exposure time of 1/250 sec. on ISO 200, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 400mm.
