Lac de Ste Croix is the largest lake of the Verdon Lakes and is situated near the village of Aiguines in Provence, France. Watching a sunset take place over the lake from Aiguines is one of the most amazing visions of beauty that you will ever witness. The incredible yellow, pink, orange and blue hues of the sky makes you understand how France is considered to be one of the most romantic places in the world.
The sunset settles in over Plateau du Valensole near the village of Aiguines in France, Europe to end another gorgeous day. Aiguines village sits on the side of a mountain at the west end of the Grand Canyon du Verdon and overlooks the north end of the lake so you can understand why the sunset from this village makes the scenery so impressive.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II, aperture of f/13.0, exposure time of 1/1.25 sec. on ISO 100, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 70mm.
