During the winter months the canyon walls, which have been carved out by the Mistaya River, collect layers of snow and ice which create pretty formations on each level. Most tourists see the setting during the summer months only however, the scene is quite different during the winter especially after the snowfall.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III, aperture of f/22.0, exposure time of 1/4 sec. on ISO 50, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 73mm.
