Photo: Arctic Fox Hunting Hudson Bay Coastline
An Arctic Fox spends many hours hunting for food along the coastline of the Hudson Bay in the Churchill Wildlife Management Area in Manitoba.
The Arctic Fox is usually hunting for lemmings, voles, squirrels, birds, berries, eggs or fish which is their regular diet, but this one is hunting for leftovers from the Polar Bears. Along the coastline of the Hudson Bay in Churchill, Manitoba as winter takes over, an Arctic Fox will occasionally find remnants of a ringed seal which they consider as a delicacy in their diet.
