To reach the Cape Palliser Lighthouse situated seventy-eight metres above sea level, one must climb up 250 wooden stairs to the cliff which overlooks the coastal waters of Wairarapa, New Zealand. It is a fairly long journey up these stairs, but once you reach the top of the cliff, the climb is forgotten as the scenery is spectacular.
