Snow piles rest atop the rocks alongside a pool of water during the winter in the Wildgerlos Valley in the Salzburger Land of Austria, Europe while a waterfall becomes frozen. Around the base of the rocks, a small sheet of ice forms in ring formations as the waterfall stops dead in its track as the chilly temperatures in the Wildgerlos Valley are below freezing.
