Because of it's close proximity to the prairies of Manitoba, the park also features a mix of western vegetation.
Featuring a vast network of pristine lakes and rivers, this beautiful provincial park situated in northwest Ontario, supports a huge variety of flora and fauna including one of the largest herds of Woodland Caribou (for...

As a mainly fly-in location, visitors can take in the beautiful aerial scenery from the air en-route to the park then experience it up close when camping or canoeing through the wilderness. Hiking is also possible however, there are no designated trails to follow. Most people visit the park for sport fishing, back country camping, canoeing, and for wildlife viewing.
