Stock photo of Western Brook Pond, in Gros Morne National Park. Originally the valley where Western Brook Pond lies was a fjord that was cut off from the sea during the last ice age. The deep wide valley surrounding Western Brook Pond has been carved out by glaciers during that ice age. The pond is nearly thirty kilometres long and is very deep. Western Brook Pond makes for a beautiful scenic shot as can be seen in this picture.
