An aerial view of the village of Vernazza in the Cinque Terre in Liguria, Italy, gives one a clear perspective of this unique location that is built along the coastline. Castillo Doria sits atop a cliff overlooking the radiant hues of the buildings which enlighten the entire region that is beaming with history.

Another way to see the natural beauty of the Cinque Terre, is to walk along the trails between the villages which is about a seven mile journey requiring many scenic stops in between.
Vernazza is the village of the Cinque Terre where you will find homes which are more elegant and there is a richer style of living compared to the other four villages. The pace around the village of Vernazza is very laid back which makes this the ideal vacation spot while in Liguria, Italy.
