The ever popular Venice in northern Italy, a travel and honeymoon destination which conjures up images of romance, where gondoliers serenade their passengers and people feasting around the Grand Canal.

As busy as Venice is, you still have to marvel at the achievements of mankind. Venice was established on March 25, 421 AD and has stood the test of time. It's a city built on wooden piles on a small island in the Venetian Lagoon along the Adriatic Sea in Northwest Italy.
There are many restaurants and cafes along the Grand Canal as well in the small side canals where visitors can stop to watch the activity during the day or enjoy a less frantic scene during sunset in the evening.
