Transient Killer Whale Hunting

A transient Killer Whale hunting a dolphin

Transient Killer Whale Hunting: Scientific Name:
Orcinus orca

share to Facebook This image shows a fully grown transient Killer Whale hunting a dolphin (yes, the little thing above the killer whale is a dolphin). The dolphin got kicked out of the water by the killer whales tail. It is hard to say how high the dolphin and the killer whale actual is, but we guess that the dolphin is about 5 meters in the air, with the transient killer whale just below it. This image was taken on an early morning from a house in Port McNeill.
