A tower rises above the Plaza de Espana at dusk in Sevilla. The Plaza de Espana is one of the most famous attractions in the whole of Sevilla, mostly due to the fantastic architecture that exists there. It is the perfect example of the style 'Moorish revival' in Spain's history. This was a style adopted by many European architects during a time when there was a fascination with the orient.
The bridge that can seen in the photograph is one of many that crosses a moat running through the plaza and leads to the buildings running round the outside. Today the buildings are mostly Government buildings.
