Construction of the fourth City Hall in Toronto was completed in 1965 and is now firmly established as a recognisable landmark in the City. In front of the Toronto City Hall building is the Nathan Phillips Square which is a popular public gathering place where events such as farmers markets, festivals, concerts and more take place. There is always something happening in the square! As night descends upon Toronto, the square and City Hall Buildings are lit up with colourful lights.
