Other purchase options for Torch Lily Flowers
A large mass of yellow flowers called the Torch Lily, blooms along the Southern Scenic Route of the South Island of New Zealand. Some people refer to these bright, yellow, cheerful flowers as a Primrose Beauty which are also found in radiant colors of red and orange.
Sun is the main factor in the growth of the Torch Lily with a fair amount of watering required, but not too much. They are not very particular to the wind and cold and require some preparation before the winter season. The Torch Lily can grow to be between two and three feet high and if high winds cross the landscape of Southland, the flowers could snap right off.
Each cluster or group of the Torch Lily can cover an area of about one and half to two and a half feet across which is why they are very visible when in full bloom. Each one of the flowers are in a tube shape that can be about 2.5 centimeters in length with four or six stamens in the center.
The Torch Lily can be a little difficult to grow but if taken care of properly, they will add amazing color to your garden. Torch Lily flowers are great to grow at home but they never seem as beautiful as ones you see along the Catlins Highway on the South Island of New Zealand. It could be because you are on holidays and ready to take in all the scenery that you pass on your travels.
