During a Buskers Festival along the waterfront of downtown Halifax in Nova Scotia, people swarm the wharf as the famous Theodore the Tugboat looks on. Every adult that has a child will recognize Theodore the Tugboat from the kids show that is loved by thousands of people from around the world.
The show originated from one man who was strolling the waterfront as he watched the tugboats in action and proceeded to make up stories for his son at bedtime about these boats. Eventually, the stories became a popular show with Theodore dressed in his red baseball cap going to work each day with all his tugboat friends. The ratings took off, creating a line of toys, books and eventually a life size creation of Theodore.
Theodore the Tugboat now has officially declared the big harbour of Halifax, Nova Scotia as its permanent residence and tours are available that take children to see the big harbour of Halifax.
