A tiny community which is big on history, Telegraph Cove is one of the last remaining boardwalk communities in British Columbia, Canada. Since its beginnings in the early 1900's, Telegraph Cove has seen many changes - starting out as a one-room telegraph station, then as a salmon saltery, and finally a sawmill. Now the boardwalk bustles to the sound of tourists as a popular summertime vacation destination.
Situated at the northern end of Johnstone Strait, Telegraph Cove is the gateway to the Broughton Archipelago offering tourists a variety of activities such as fishing, whale watching, kayaking, and beautiful coastal cruising.
During a flightseeing tour of the region, aerial views of the community reveal the old historic boardwalk with its bright red buildings and cabins nestled on the steep hills surrounding the cove.
