While driving Highway 3 through Southern Alberta, Canada, the scenic landscape outside of Pincher Creek is made up of miles of farmland. Highway 3 is a route which is much quieter than other highways, making the drive much more relaxing while you enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Since 1932, Highway 3 was officially incorporated and it runs for 722 miles through British Columbia and Alberta. The majority of the highway, 520 miles of it, is located in British Columbia and the remaining 202 miles in Alberta. At the west end, the highway begins at Hope, British Columbia and winds its way around the mountainous landscape until it passes Sparwood. From there, it is another 11 miles until you enter Southern Alberta. Highway 3 continues on until it finally comes to an end at Medicine Hat.
