Kejimkujik, a park situated in the Canadian Province of Nova Scotia, is a 381 square kilometre piece of pristine wilderness laced with scenic rivers and lakes. The most accessible of these is the Mersey River and Kejimkujik Lake. The park has been designated both a national park and National Historic Site.
Running through Kejimkujik like a main artery, the scenic Mersey River both fills Kejimkujik Lake and relieves it. As one of the most accessible rivers in Kejimkujik National Park, the Mersey River is ideal for canoeing or kayaking. The scenic meadows which fringe the river are also suitable for hiking.
