Other purchase options for Red Rock Coastline Provence
There is a rugged stretch of the Cote d'Azur in Provence, France called Corniche de l'Esterel where the red rock coastline is an undeveloped paradise from Antheor to Le Trayas. The lovely little beaches are easily accessible, and with some rock climbing around the little headlands one is sure to find an almost deserted sandy cove.
The dramatic red rock is volcanic and rolls down from the craggy Massif de l'Esterel into the waiting Mediterranean Sea. Even if one does not drive, there are ten buses a day and numerous train stations between St. Raphael and Le Trayas on the Cote d'Azur in Provence.
There are also boats that follow the red rock coastline from St Raphael gare maritime to Le Trayas. The pretty little seaside town of Le Trayas is located at the highest spot of the Corniche de l'Esterel and the winding road can be quite a challenge, but there are several places to park along the way and enjoy a picnic and the superb views of the red rock capes and sandy inlets.
