Red Bay Labrador

The town of Red Bay became a spot on the map years ago when it was once the home to a Basque whaling station where whalers were in search for the Bowhead and Right Whales. It has now been declared as a UNESCO Heritage site. Three large whaling ships and four smaller ones were discovered below the waters around Red Bay and it is now recognized as one of the best underwater archaeological areas in the Americas.
