Wildflowers grow along the shores of the beach at Raumati South on the North Island of New Zealand as Kapiti Island adorns the background. White billowy clouds hang above the region, as a breeze blows across the surface of the water making the waves crash up onto the beach.
In Raumati South there are approximately 3,200 residents and the town has an aura about it which is very artsy and carefree. People here are very friendly and outgoing and love to spend their days walking barefoot along the beach as they admire the view of Kapiti Island.
The waterfront along this coast seems to run parallel along the water's edge for miles to the south until it joins up with the the beach at Queen Elizabeth Park.
