Pultenay Point Lighthouse was first established on 12 September 1905. Today it is one of the few staffed lighthouses remaining in British Columbia.
It is situated on the west end of Malcolm Island, and marks the entrance to Broughton Strait from the Queen Charlotte Strait, almost opposite of Port McNeill on Northern Vancouver Island
The site of the lighthouse is open, however there is no access inside the tower. A car and passenger ferry from Port McNeill to Sointula on Malcolm Island, operates daily by BC Ferries.
