Pont du Loup village in France, Europe is situated along a twisty and scenic road between Pre-du-Lac and Tourrettes in the Provence, France in Europe. The village of Pont du Loup has a few historic hotel buildings, the old railway viaduct which crosses the valley and on the upside of the river is the candy factory where the candied fruit has become very well known.
The old "La Reserve" hotel was once a very elegant place to stay but has now been run down to the point of no return. In prior days, there was nothing like a good meal on the terrace and then a walk across the footbridge onto the wooded island which was all part of the hotel grounds.
Some of the best known hiking trails exist in the Pont du Loup in France, Europe....
... One goes along the railway line towards Gourdon where you will enter a few dark tunnels and you may require a flashlight. Another trail starts at the candy factory and follows the right hand side of the river. Both trails are considered fairly easy and offer some of the most beautiful scenery of the Pont du Loup and the Gorges du Loup in the Provence, France.
