A Polar Bear does not play a lot of games with humans, but this one seemed to appear from behind the growing shrubbery and a close up picture was in order. His beautiful white body appeared from behind the bush with his cute face staring right at us.
His short little ears sitting atop his massive head help the Polar Bear in retaining heat along with his thick layer of blubber. His dark black eyes that stare at us, do not appear too threatening yet and backing away is the wise choice to make. At this time of the year, the Polar Bear is starting to awaken from resting and sleeping for the last few months. With an extremely sharp sense of smell, the Polar Bear would have sensed humans close by long before we would have seen him appearing from the bushes.
