Other purchase options for Point Wolfe River Covered Bridge New Brunswick
Throughout New Brunswick, Canada there are sixty-five covered bridges and only two of them have been built since 1991 with the remaining sixty-three being the original ones. This red covered bridge that crosses the Point Wolfe River is one of the two that was built later but this one is the only painted covered bridge.
The Point Wolfe River covered bridge was rebuilt in 1992 for people exploring Fundy National Park in New Brunswick so that they could easily cross the river. Large boulders line the river bank under the covered bridge which can be partially underwater when the Point Wolfe River is raging through the wilderness. At this particular time of year, the river peacefully makes its way through Fundy National Park and the water level is fairly low, but during Spring, crossing the river is dangerous without the covered bridge.
Fundy National Park in New Brunswick, Canada has over 100 kilometers of trails, some which are easy for the casual hikers while others are extremely challenging reaching lengths of fifty kilometers. The scenery in Fundy National Park is amazing as you pass by spectacular waterfalls, rock cliffs and coastline views due to the great layout of the trails.
Summer is the best time for hiking expeditions in Fundy National Park as the water levels in the rivers have calmed considerably, especially the Point Wolfe River. During the winter, hiking is not quite as enjoyable but excellent cross country skiing is available in the wilderness trails. The only problem being is that when you reach the covered bridge, the skis will have to come off to reach the other side of the river.
