Purple Borage and red poppies are just a couple of types of wildflowers that grow randomly in the fields of Huesca, Aragon in Spain. This particular picture was taken near the village of Santa Maria and Embalse de la Pena where wildflowers grow in a variety of sizes and colors.
As you hike through some of the most beautiful valleys and canyons of Aragon, Spain you will come across wildflowers blowing gently in the breeze awaiting the next photo. Floral pictures of brilliant colors are extremely plentiful due to the amount of wildflowers in Aragon, Spain.
Around the area of Embalse de la Pena (lake) there is nothing more picturesque than hillsides full of wildflowers opened to their fullest. When the sun decides to call it quits for another day, then the poppies also close up and call it a day until the early light of morning.
Aragon, Spain is an excellent travel destination for loading up your camera with flora and fauna pictures of Europe.
