Photo: Waterline Fog British Columbia Coastline

A band of fog blurs the waterline along the forested coastline of British Columbia, adding an air of mystery.

Knight Inlet forms part of the beautiful Great Bear Rainforest, a name coined by environmentalist groups to define a region of unspoiled temperate rainforest which is home to a host of wildlife such as bears, cougars, wolves, and salmon.

This picture shows a small section of the British Columbia coastline in the Great Bear Rainforest, with fog hanging at the waterline and old growth forest draped in moss reaching to the water's edge.
