Most beautiful in spring and fall when there are not a lot of people around. Victoria on Vancouver Island is also called the Garden City, first of all for its famous Butchart Gardens. Just a little out of Victoria you can hike along the wild and beautiful Pacific Coast, with views of the Olympic Mountains across the Strait.
