The harbour along the waterfront in Victoria on Vancouver Island, British Columbia is a picturesque place to walk where many people venture to on a daily basis. As you walk along the waterfront, on one side, you will find yachts, speed boats and sailboats moored in the harbour and on the other side of the street sits the luxurious Fairmont Empress Hotel.The Victoria harbour is a bustling place during the day where people enjoy the sunshine, scenery and buskers. The Visitor Information Center is also located along the waterfront and any information that you may be looking for on Victoria or elsewhere on Vancouver Island is readily available.As evening approaches around the Victoria harbour, lights sparkle from the Fairmont Empress Hotel, the Legislative Buildings and the street lamps. Many couples sit at the Victoria Harbour in the evening as it can be one of the most romantic and peaceful places on Vancouver Island.Victoria is located on the Southern end of Vancouver Island where cruise ships dock, ferry terminals are located and easy access is available to the Olympic Peninsula.
