Dense rows of orange, lemon, and clementine trees can be seen when traveling through the region of Valencia - adeptly named "The Orchard of Spain".
Sweet Oranges are grown in well irrigated groves near the frost-free Mediterranean coastline, where during the spring the air is filled with the sweet smell of the orange blossom.
The oranges are harvested later in the season as they ripen in the fertile plains of Valencia.
