The Bougainvillea is a tropical plant which grows in abundance in Oliva Nova, Valencia in Spain and the winter months prompt it to flower. A Bougainvillea in full bloom produces three large papery bracts that surround small, white tubular flowers in a way much like that of the poinsettia.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II, aperture of f/5.6, exposure time of 1/320 sec. on ISO 100, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 180mm.
