Elbow Falls is located near Bragg Creek in Alberta Canada, a popular holiday hamlet for those planning to travel to Kananaskis country. The Elbow River is an important waterway since it provides potable water to many communities including Bragg Creek and in Calgary where it merges with the Bow River. During the dry winter months Elbow Falls is a 6 metre drop, however during the spring melt and rain the drop is greatly reduced because of high water levels.
