A thick gathering of seagulls stay close to a transient killer whale looking for scraps of food after the pod of whales killed a sea lion.

A pod of transient killer whales attracts a flock of seagulls after a sea lion kill in Queen Charlotte Strait.

This whale in particular had to share scraps with the seagulls some of which flew overhead and others that settled in the water.

Transient killer whales (orca, Orcinus orca, T30's & T137's) after killing a sea lion off Malcolm Island near Donegal Head, British Columbia, Canada.
