Photo: The Chasm Milford Sound Fiordland NP

Etched out by the force of the Cleddau River, The Chasm is a must see during a visit to Milford Sound in the Fiordland National Park, Southland, New Zealand.

As the name suggests, The Chasm has been etched out of the soft rock by the Cleddau River over centuries as it squeezes through the narrow channel. The Chasm is found along the Milford Road in Fiordland National Park, Southland, New Zealand.
