The sunsets over Spain seem to paint the skies with many colours of red, pink, orange and mauve, then as the sun sinks below the horizon breathtaking golden hues appear. In this scene, the silhouetted trees add an air of serenity and mystery. Some of the loveliest sunsets can be seen in the province of Huesca in the northern area of Spain in the community of Aragon and Aneto, the highest mountain of the Pyrenees range can be found in Huesca province, Spain. The capital city of Huesca province is also called Huesca and has a population around 50,000 in an area of over 15,000 square kilometers. Although Huesca is in the Pyrenees mountain area the city is less than 500 meters above sea level. The old city of Huesca in Spain was founded in the first century BC with the pre-Roman Iberian name was Bolskan and became an important stopping place along the Roman road network. There are many churches in the city of Huesca, the largest being the Gothic 'Catedral de la Transfiguracion del Senor' started in 1273 by the Aragon King Jaime 1.When enjoying the lovely sight of an ever-changing sunset of Spain in the serene area of Aragon, it is amazing to think that the skies and the setting sun probably gave the citizens of Bolskan of ancient times the same beautiful sunsets.Sunset near the city of Huesca and the Pyrenees Mountain Range, Aragon, Spain, Europe.
