Cable cars in San Francisco, California are very popular for locals and tourists to travel around the streets of this amazing city. The cable cars have different routes of travel and this particular one is destined for Powell and Hyde Streets.During the Christmas season each cable car is adorned with festive decorations and jumping on one makes getting around much easier while shopping for those special gifts. However, any time of year is fun to ride the cable car where you can hang onto the sides as you travel up and down the steep hills while enjoying the sights of San Francisco.This type of transportation is pulled along the track by large underground cables and each car has three different braking devices.
