The world's largest, Saamis teepee was originally built for the Calgary 1988 Winter Olympics. It was later moved to its present location in Medicine Hat, Alberta. Standing at 215 Feet high (or 65.5 metres) it has been built to withstand the strong winds, as well as the extreme temperatures of the prairie lands.
